Annoyed with the check in process. You have to wear their stupid check in bracelet first off. Reception was rude and uninviting. Also, the price was much higher than expected. 38$/night when maps was telling me it would be 14$.

For the price, this place was great. The room was clean, spacious, and the staff was friendly. Great location next to the metro and the historic center. Our room did not have air conditioning, but they provided a powerful fan that cooled down the room sufficiently, along with the open window.

Lived here for a few months a few years back (yes, you can rent monthly). The bed and furnishings were old, but (mercifully) very clean and free of critters. The sorts of people you encounter in the hotel are a different story--it's part hippy hostel, part odd people who sit in their rooms and smoke pot all day. Overall, the place has a Bohemian vibe. The location is great, just know it's on two major throughfares, so even on the sixth floor things are a bit noisy. There's a common kitchen for cooking, although it's not very well-equipped and sometimes is dirty.

There's nothing fancy about this place, but it's a great location close to everything and very afforfable. We loved the mid-century modern furniture in the lobby... so cool.
