“despite very decent service, this is probably the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed in. The hotel was probably built several decades ago and the room is in a grave state of disrepair, especially the bathroom. The pools closed at 8pm and the beach closed at 6pm (hopefully it's a temporary measure due to COVID) but the worst part is the pools are dirty and the beaches are clearly not well maintained either. Breakfast service is a chaos if you don't choose to go there at 6:30 or 7am. The dinner service is the same chaos and not all waiters speak English- not an 'upscale' property for sure”

“The grand imposing building really dominates the area. This was probably a really good hotel when it opened. But today it feels overpriced and a bit rundown. The communal areas are nice, especially the pools which are great! But the rooms are tired and in need of redecoration. The area is not particularly nice and a bit isolated from the beautiful city of Cartagena which was the reason we came here.”
