Staff - The staff 90% seem unhappy to be there and 10% actually like their jobs.
Rooms - Forgettable. Nice to have a bath tub on balcony or pool in front-yard.
Amenities - Scuba for "free" is nice but they are pretty strict on approving you. Snorkeling was also a fun option. There are basketball courts, volleyball, water sports and good amount of pools on the property.
For the money there are other places I'd consider going in Jamaica.”

If you're looking for a quiet experience go there. I was looking for more of an interactive fun experience.
Pool closes at 6 pm. The food was ok, but the workers were fantastic.
This wouldn't be the resort I would recommend.

We visited Sandals Montego Bay for our 15 year wedding anniversary and the resort did not miss! Our last time in Jamaica was for our honeymoon, so we were due back.
From the airport pickup, to our reception at check-in, we felt like we were in paradise. The food, drinks, entertainment, and hospitality were all very nice. This resort is close to the airport, and as we saw with other reviews, we quickly got used to the planes taking off. There aren't many taking off each day, and they only occur midday, not at night or early morning. The resort has several pools and restaurants, but the beach views are so beautiful! We only entered a pool once; most of our time was spent on the beach.
Hospitality is five stars🌟. There wasn't one staff member that didn't ask if we needed something if they caught us
idle or if we weren't holding a drink! Very proactive customer service.
Thank you, Sandals, for an amazing vacation. We look forward to our next Sandals vacation, which is already scheduled for next year.

This is a awesome resort. I don't like that there is no window in the bedroom area. But the views are breath taking. The water is so blue and clear in most areas. All you can eat food and drink. The wife loved it for her birthday.

We had a great time. Sandals makes it seem nicer than it actually is. The room I had that I paid an astronomical amount of money for was not as nice or clean as it should of been. The best thing about this place was how friendly the staff is. They all greet you and say hello as they pass you by. They are constantly cleaning the palace so the grounds are well kept and sanitized. We had butler service and they did an awesome job, however sandals assigns too many people to a butler and they run around like crazy all day long all over the resort. So it may take awhile until you can get something and it's not the butler's fault they do an amazing job but sandals corporation needs to learn how to treat their employees. I noticed they take advantage, I watched and observed alot,occupational hazard I guess. The only reason I would book with them again and spend another 8 grand on a trip is because of their employees. They treated us great! But maybe then should not assign so many people to 2 butler's or better assign them so they don't run from one end of the Resort to the other. Had 2 awesome Butler's and thank them for taking care of us.

Sandals Montego Bay is a top-notch hotel resort. We had a beautiful room, two amazing butlers, Marvin and Stevan, who scheduled everything for us, and we ate many delicious meals. Mid-day snacks were brought to the room without us even asking for them. On the last night, New Year's Eve, we came back from an all-day excursion to a bath drawn for us and flower petals everywhere. I felt like a queen for the week. One recommendation would be to make sure to have a lot of $5's with you. Be prepared to tip the drivers and the tour guides whenever you book an excursion. You will also need to tip the drivers who pick you up from the airport and take you back to the airport, along with anyone who helps you with your bags. Also, plan on paying your butlers in cash. They prefer it that way, and I do not blame them. They deserve a good tip. If you plan on any spa services, you will need to tip them as well. American dollars are acceptable. We did not need to exchange any money.

Tokyo Joe's has the very best food! Of course you get to pick every ingredient, so if you disagree it's your own fault! 🙂. It's just a 10 minute shuttle from Sandals Royal Caribbean, but worth the effort. Great views too!

They've renovated? Great, but the facility was never the problem. From management to the personal concierges, they simply do not care about all of their guests. The experience was so bad that we'll never give another dime to another Sandals. Pick any other all-inclusive on that beautiful island.

Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful landscaping and amazing atmosphere. The people that work here are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was always on point at every restaurant. The bartenders were awesome at making amazing drinks! Andrew and Big Raj are the drink making masters!

First time at an all inclusive resort as we are normally cruisers in the abnormal year. Enjoyed all the amenities we could from the pools to the beautiful waters. Hobie-Cats, Tubing behind boats, Sunset Sailing, Snorkeling on reefs, were a few of the wonderful things you can do. The food was fantastic but what was even better was the service. All of the people there were a joy to speak with. Everyone greeted you with a good morning, or one love. The resort is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views of the well manicured grounds and the Caribbean. The only drawback was the bed and the pillows. At a resort like this the beds have to be top notch. Sadly they caused back and neck pain which was the only downside of a fantastic honeymoon stay. Upgrade the beds and this would be a 5 star review.

People are afraid to travel and we are happy we went to Sandals. The high safety protocol, everyone of the staff wore mask, hand sanitizer everywhere on the property was wonderful. The staff, rooms, food and drinks was amazing. Go visit Sandals Montego Bay for a wonderful vacation. Thank you Janet Moody Travel for a well planned adventure.

Spent the most amazing honeymoon here!
Our room was perfect on the not-busy side of the hotel with a private sun bed and walked out to the beach and pool. The food was amazing (except for cricketers pub...avoid it) and the frozen drinks are so good!! Everyone is so friendly and I am excited to go back to sandals next year!

This trip was my very first time experiencing a Sandals resort, and I can't wait to return! Travelling during a pandemic is a difficult experience, but Sandals certainly made our vacation as carefree and enjoyable as can be. A high level of cleanliness is observed in all areas of the hotel. Sanitizer is readily available for all, and all members of the staff wore masks the entire time, even the entertainers. Despite all the sterile formalities, the staff did their best to create a warm welcoming environment. Every member was friendly and kind, and they even remembered our names through the duration of the stay. The restaurants were most of the time filled to capacity, but that only speaks to the quality of the food. Staff members worked tirelessly to fit us in for meals by calling our room the minute there was a vacancy. Our room was also beautiful complete with comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor. My personal favorite detail of the room was the private swim-up pool. Sandals is a truly remarkable vacation spot that exceeded my expectations!
