This place is not to Marriott standards I’m used to. Felt like I was in an apartment building in the bad section of town. One can only imagine what was going on with the constant traffic in and out of that place. Would give 0 stars but that’s not an option. On a plus side it is conveniently located right off the highway.

Byron & Courtney at the front desk were amazing! Both were super helpful & friendly! The room was clean, bed was very comfy. Water bottles and coffee were provided also. Would definitely stay here again my next trip to Columbia.

This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and lucky this wasn’t a leisure or Family trip. I stayed at this hotel a total of 28 days between two consecutive months. This was a group reservation through the military and this location is recommended to be removed from off post hotels. The best way to describe this hotel is lipstick on a pig. Pros: 1. Within 15 minutes of FT Jackson post 2. Within 15-20 minutes of downtown 3. Service had a good attitude 4. Cleaning services did an ok job Cons: 1. My first two week the heat didn’t work and it was never fixed. My colleagues experienced the same scenario 2. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast as continental or at the restaurant to pay. We were offered lounge access for a few days then it was removed. Keep in mind more than half of the hotel is military group reservation and paying the highest hotel rate. 3. The restaurant was rarely open and doesn’t have a true consistent schedule. It baffles me that an entire hotel has per diem for food and restaurant is rarely open. 4. The toilet system is completely screwed up and the bathroom floor LEAKS. The floor literally oozes fluid from toilet. At any moment you could be standing in your own liquid feces. 5. The power went out for a couple hours and there was absolutely no emergency plan. Guests just sitting in the complete dark. I’m no OSHA expert but you would think there would be lights or glow sticks at the front desk and stairs. None at all. Also no apology or explanation of what happened. 6. My colleagues had to be moved an average of 3 times per two week stay. That’s absolutely ridiculous how many rooms were messed up. 7. It’s constant weed smoking in the rooms and nothing is done about it. I do not recommend this hotel and won’t be staying again under any circumstances.

This location is great if your driving a large commercial vehicle. I pulled in with ease, drove around the whole hotel & parked in a safe well lite parking lot. The restaurant had excellent service at breakfast. My remodeled room was clean,comfortable & nice.

This establishment automated answering system for the Sales Department lacks urgency in response time. It has been six hours and 25 minutes since my initial call which led to an in-person visit to address my needs. Unfortunately, the Sales Manager has been in a long meeting and they weren’t sure she’d be able to return my call today according to the Front Desk Manager on-duty. After asking to speak with the Hotel Manager since there were no others that could assist me, I was told to call the number of the card provided and speak with the person listed on the card. THE CARD READ: GUEST SERVICES. After sharing with her that the card didn’t have a name, I asked for the managers’ name was, she replied Bianca with an attitude. I then asked was she the Hotel Manager and she replied, “She the General Manager, she’s over everybody and everything.” Front Desk Manager/Event Planner please upgrade your customer service skills because you just lost a lot of business for this establishment.
