I stayed in the hotel for only two nights but I am very glad that I chose this hotel. Everyone here was very polite, helpful and profesional. The hotel has a very well equipped gym, a beautiful pool ( nat to deep), rather for children. A hotel room have everything what you need to travel and very clean. Definitely I the future coming back to SD I will back to the hotel.

Everything was great until I met my husband, a security guard who worked there for years and never missed a day. I left DR the next morning after meeting him for only 5 minutes.
I returned to DR in search of him, we fell in love and got married about a month later...
They fired him a week after we got married, for "fraternizing with the guests".
He was working in La Jargon to take care of his family in the war-torn country of Venezuela.
They fired him without cause or explanation. He was one of the best gaurds the had.

The staff. Excellent service and courteous. There was an event or convention daily,where a reception was set up in and outside the lobby and along the aisle where the seminars were conducted,allowing attendees to congregate and block the aisle for other guests. Also the double beds are too small.

Arrived early, but check-in occurred a few minutes after 3 00 PM.Staff was friendly, including security. I miss-stepped and fell down 2 steps just past a sliding door. Staff was quick to get me to, through the emergency room and back to the hotel. Enjoy No hand railings for steps and no alert for steps immediately past the sliding door.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Although I speak Spanish, I did not make this known and ALL staff I encountered (even security guards) had surprisingly good English capabilities. They made several special arrangements for me. Above and beyond. The only disadvantage to this hotel is its location. It is not in Punta Cana and you cannot get a lot of excursions or tours from here without going to another location first. However, to tour the best parts of Santo Domingo, its ideal.
